Bug Friend is Mikey and Kaylee, a husband and wife team based out of Seattle that creates music and content for kids of all ages. Inspired by their children, Bug Friend crafts songs about science, art, reading, emotional intelligence, waking up or going to sleep, and dancing.

Nature’s Builders
With the help of Seattle theater folks, we are developing an engaging and interactive children’s musical about a bowerbird who lost his way and the community of builders (think bees and beavers) who help him get back home.
Book Bops
We started singing children’s books out loud to our daughters and accidentally created some pretty memorable melodies. We are now in conversation with publishing companies to make a series of “sing-a-long / read-a-long” videos.
Bug Friend Album
Ranging from the very simple dance party vibe of OK Baby, Go! to the more complex, soulful “I Lost My Balloon” a song that deals with loss, sadness, and grief. This album features an eclectic mix of songs designed with families of all ages in mind.
